The Architects Golf Course Tour Hours of Operation Meet the Golf Staff






Pete Dye
Born in 1925 in Urbana, Ohio and hailed as the father of modern golf course architecture, Mr. Dye earned his Doctoral of Landscape Architecture from Purdue University. He served as President of the prestigious American Society of Golf Course Architect's and is an honored recipient of the ASGCA's Donald Ross Award as well as the PGA's Distinguished Service Award, the PGA Tour's Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Golf Course Superintendent Association's Old Tom Morris Award. 




Greg Norman
Nicknamed "The Shark" largely because of his fondness of the water during his youth in his native Australia. Mr. Norman's 20 PGA Tour titles and 66 international wins have assured him a lofty place in golf history for his playing abilities Under Greg Norman Golf Course Design, "The Shark" has also garnered the reputation as one of the premier golf course designers in the world through his hands-on approach, which has earned several of his lay-outs ranking among the United States' very best.  Mr. Norman's design philosophy to work with the site's natural elements to maximize the course's inherent beauty is clearly apparent in our golf course lay-out here at Tuscany Reserve.
